We are a group of scientists and engineers working towards understanding intelligence and how to recreate it in machines.
Our main distinction and the main advantage is the diversity of approaches we pursue towards AI.
Some groups focus on Deep Learning/Machine Learning and Reinforcement learning, some are trying to reverse-engineer the brain; some AI scientists have found their way doing fundamental research in Algorithmic Information Theory and Data compression. We still haven’t settled on any, because none gives us the necessary tools. Instead, we take great inspiration from the brain and neuroscience and try to come up with rigorous mathematical models of computation.
We publish papers, open-source code, make meetings, lectures, and workshops to advance our views on the AI problem.
⚡AI is not an engineering problem, but a fundamental one. Combining existing ideas and models is not enough.
